Privacy notice
How we handle personal data, written to be read rather than to be survived.
Who we are
Clover Comms Ltd, registered in Ireland, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at [email protected] or on +44 330 320 3331.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, business email, phone number, company and site address.
- Information you send when requesting a quote, including copies of bills and details of your existing services.
- Service data if you become a client: call detail records, service configuration, support tickets and, where you have enabled it, call recordings.
- Basic technical data from this website, such as pages visited and approximate location, used to keep the site working and to understand demand.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To deliver, support and bill for the services you buy. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet regulatory obligations, including emergency call location requirements and record retention. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To keep our network secure and to prevent fraud. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
Call recordings
Where call recording is enabled on your service, you are the controller of those recordings and we process them on your instructions under a data processing agreement. Retention periods are set by you. Recordings are stored within the European Union.
Who we share it with
We share data with the carriers and wholesale providers needed to deliver your service, with our platform and software suppliers, and with professional advisers. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third party marketing. Where a supplier processes data outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months if you do not become a client. Client records are kept for the life of the contract and for seven years afterwards to meet tax and regulatory requirements. Call detail records and recordings are kept for the period you specify.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased in certain circumstances, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Contact [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
