The copper switch-off

Traditional Phone Lines Are Being Retired

eir is retiring its copper network exchange by exchange as fibre is rolled out across Ireland. Anything still running on an analogue line or an ISDN circuit will need to move to an IP based service before that happens.

That includes more than the phone system. Alarm diallers, lift lines, card machines and door entry systems are often still sitting on old lines without anyone realising. We audit what is actually connected, plan the move and handle the migration properly.

Book a line audit →

What a line audit covers
  • Every line, circuit and number you are paying for, listed against what it actually does
  • Contract end dates, so nothing renews without you knowing
  • The fibre and mobile options available at each Eircode, checked rather than assumed
  • A migration plan with a cutover date and a porting timeline
  • What the service will cost once the move is complete

The audit is free, and the findings are yours whether you move to us or not.

AI receptionists

Calls Answered When Your Team Cannot

In many businesses calls are missed, messages need replaying and details get lost in the middle of a busy day. An AI receptionist handles those gaps inside the phone system you already use, answering calls, directing callers and recording enquiries so they are not lost.

  • Answers calls when your team is busy, out of hours or on another job
  • Books appointments straight into your diary during the call
  • Sends the caller a text confirmation before they hang up
  • Transfers anything sensitive to a person rather than guessing
  • Writes every call up as text so it can be read, searched and checked later

How we work

Understand First, Then Deliver What Fits

We take the time to understand how your business really works before making any recommendations. Whether you are a small team or a multi site operation, the approach does not change.

Review

We look at your current bills, lines and contracts, and check what is genuinely available at each of your Eircodes. You see the findings before you see a price.

Recommend

Connectivity and services are recommended based on your usage, your critical systems and how much downtime you can tolerate, rather than defaulting to a single product.

Deliver

Numbers ported, hardware configured before it ships, and the cutover scheduled outside your working hours. Existing services stay live until the new ones are proven.

Support

Ongoing monitoring, a named contact who knows your setup, and regular reviews to make sure your services still match how the business is operating.

Coverage

Supporting Businesses Across Ireland

Hosted services work anywhere there is a dependable connection, and where fibre has not arrived we design around it. Engineers cover Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, and we travel for everywhere else.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we keep our existing phone numbers?

Existing numbers can be transferred across when you move to a new service. Number portability is a regulated right in Ireland and we port from all Irish carriers. Portability is confirmed during the review stage rather than after you commit.

What happens if the internet connection drops?

Call routing options such as mobile failover or alternative routing can be configured so calls are not lost during an outage. Sites that cannot tolerate downtime can be supported with a mobile backup connection that takes over automatically.

Do you cover rural locations?

We work across the open eir, SIRO and National Broadband Ireland footprints, and use fixed wireless, 4G or 5G where fibre has not yet arrived. Availability is checked against your specific Eircode rather than the surrounding area.

Are you tied to one network?

Connectivity and mobile services are recommended based on what suits your sites, not on a single supplier relationship. It also means services can be moved between carriers without you having to change provider.

Can services be provided across multiple sites?

Yes. Connections, phone systems and IT support can be provided and managed across multiple locations under a single support arrangement, with reporting that covers all of them together.

How quickly are issues responded to?

Response times are defined and prioritised based on the type and impact of the issue. Support is accessed through clear contact routes rather than informal requests, and critical faults are escalated immediately.

Let's Talk About Your Setup
